What drives investment returns over time is not investment selection and timing promoted by the financial media and the vast majority of financial advisors; rather, it’s five economic or financial factors coupled with successfully managing investor behavior. In the future, we will address investor behavior; for now we will focus on the five economic factors we’ll call the Five Dials.
